There was a moment in the middle of our wedding when, after yet another dance-floor crowd-pleaser, I turned to a friend and exclaimed “Oh my god I love this song too!” And then a moment later I realized that the reason I kept loving all of the songs was because Paddy had actually listened to what we wanted played! I loved the music because we had a DJ who took our suggestions and not only played them well into the night, but did so in a way that kept the energy high and everyone on the dance floor.
